Loved the show, listened from start to finish this time. I've been doing the 1982 tour in order so I'm enjoying this flip forward to see what is awaiting me. The earlier shows of the year have so far been plagued by a serious lack of Phil so this is a good antidote. First set is very lively with all the songs containing MAGIC. Every song has that touch like this show is special.

Bertha has a blown verse but unique instrumental. Jerry's second solo in Minglewood is incredible. The cowboys songs come off well as the drummers are really together for this show. Love what the organ brings to It's All Over Now. This China > Rider may be one of the best of the 80's ? This transition jam is probably the best I've heard from this era. No kidding.

Never listen to Day Job so this one goes down easy. Nice chord progression even if the lyrics won't do. MSWS is played with gusto. A visit to West LA is dangerous but fun.

This Playin' jam is up there with the C>R jam in being one of the best of this era that I've heard. Here's to wishing it was longer! Wheel is real nice with that beautiful jam on the tail end dropping into an OO that goes off the tracks (intentionally, with a devilish grin) a number of times. Man, I wish they jammed on Truckin' a little more even though the song itself is super tight and high energy. Black Peter is a spiritual experience.

Great show with lots of energy but I just wish the jams in the second set were a bit longer. Still, this is definitely a keeper and I will be listening to this again.

Nice review. Yea this show drips magic, surprised you didnt mention the Althea. I think I listened this show completely 3 xs through this round.

I am not so familiar with spring 82. But That is why I enjoy as well, listening to entire tours, especially ones I am not familiar with.

Let me know what else you find
